Eddie Hearn Wins the Telegraph Health and Fitness Book of the Year 2021, Sponsored By iPRO Hydrate

iPRO are thrilled to announce Eddie Hearn has won the iPRO Hydrate Health & Fitness Book of the Year at the Telegraph Sports Book Awards with his debut title Relentless. Eddie won the people’s vote against boxing rival Tyson Fury, Olympic Gymnastics gold medallist Max Whitlock, Italian football legend Gianluca Vialli, Joe Wicks, and Chloe Madele. The Telegraph Sports Book Awards is the major annual promotion for sports writing and publishing. The awards exist to highlight the most outstanding sports books of the previous calendar year, to showcase their merits and to enhance their reputation and profile. The awards started in 2002, with the first award ceremony in 2003.

“The perfect book for when life deals a knockout blow, the sports promoter’s invaluable twelve step guide to making the most from life is drawn from the hard-won lessons of a hugely successful career” – Waterstones

The Sunday Times Number One Business Bestseller, Relentless, is an insightful and revealing book in which Eddie talks about the highs and lows of his career - from negotiating a billion dollar boxing deal to selling out Wembley for the Joshua Klitschko fight - and draws the valuable lessons to learn from boxing's toughest performers. In his remarkable career, Eddie Hearn has worked alongside some of the biggest names in sports entertainment and has seen first-hand the grit and relentless determination that it takes to succeed.

Following his spectacular win, Eddie Hearn commented:

“I’m delighted to have won the iPRO Hydrate Sport Health and Fitness Book of the Year award alongside some brilliant nominees. This award is particularly special as it’s voted for by the public and I thank everyone that’s supported the book. This book was a challenge that I undertook during lockdown and although it’s business lead, it’s focus is on mindset, achieving goals and a will to win.

At times it almost felt like a personal counselling session and enabled me to learn a lot about myself and how to determine what ‘success’ really is. Thanks to Hodder & Stoughton for taking on the challenge with me and I look forward to the autobiography when I’m old and grey-er”.
