iPRO Reveal Launch into WHSmith Airport Stores Across Republic of Ireland
iPRO are excited to reveal the launch of their healthy hydration drinks into WHSmith Travel Stores across the Republic of Ireland. The partnership will see the brand’s flagship wellness range, iPRO Hydrate, enriched with essential vitamins launch into 11 airport locations.
WHSmith Travel is a leading travel retailer with a presence in a wide range of locations in the UK, including airports, hospitals, train stations and motorway service areas. The partnership with WHSmith will expand the company's offering into functional beverages and promote healthy hydration for travellers.
Recommended by parkrun, the world’s largest free to participate weekly activity, iPRO’s healthy hydration drinks are sweetened naturally with Stevia and bottled up with added electrolytes, enabling the body to absorb and retain hydration. The caffeine-free drinks are enriched with B vitamins and vitamin C to bolster the immune system, effectively helping the body acclimatise to dry environments.
Travel environments are known to be dry, which is down to continual air conditioning effectively drawing out moisture from the air. This can leave travellers experiencing dehydration when their hydration levels are left overlooked. By keeping WHSmith chillers stocked with iPRO, travellers will be encouraged to pick up a bottle of replenishing hydration.
On the partnership, William Ufland, Head of International Buying at WHSmith, said:
“We are delighted to partner with iPRO across our airport stores within Ireland, one of our biggest European markets. Adding healthier and more functional drinks to our chillers is important to customers and we are excited to see their potential to enhance the category offer in key travel hubs.”
Sophie Christy, Global Commercial Director at iPRO, added:
“We are incredibly excited to partner with WHSmith Travel Stores across Ireland and make healthy hydration more accessible for travellers on the go. The dry conditions found in travel environments can disrupt our hydration levels when we forget to drink enough. By expanding our presence in WHSmith Travel Stores, we hope to encourage more travellers to pick up a bottle of essential hydration.”
