The first one in the category is called the LDL or the low-density lipoprotein. It is also known as 'bad' cholesterol. The second one in the category is called the HDL or the high-density lipoprotein. It is also known as 'good' cholesterol.
According to a study named 'Dehydration during fasting increases serum lipids and lipoproteins' by Campbell NR, Wickert W, Magner P, Shumak SL, published in Clinical and Investigative Medicine, it was found that dehydration can lead to a rise in the cholesterol levels in the body. Therefore, we can conclude that the relation between hydration and cholesterol levels in the body is directly proportional.
It is necessary to ensure a liberal intake of water to prevent an unhealthy rise in the cholesterol levels. This will lead to the deposit of fat in the blood vessels which will disrupt the smooth flow of blood through the same. High cholesterol levels in the body can lead to an increased risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.
Tips to maintain a healthy heart:
• Ensure a good sleep every night and make sure that your body is well-rested.
• Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
• Maintain a healthy balanced diet. This means to consume the essential nutrients and avoid excessive sugar in your diet.
• Try to maintain a healthy weight.
• Physical inactivity can lead to an increased Irishk of developing cardiovascular diseases, strokes, and obesity. To prevent the same, make sure that you exercise regularly and keep your body physically mobile.
